Absalom Jones Diversity Ministry
Mission: To create an environment within St. Paul's such that the church appreciates the differences among its members and develops an understanding and respect for each member of its congregation. To also bring awareness and celebration of Absalom Jones, the first black priest of the Episcopal Church. This ministry meets the 4th Sunday of each month at 12:00 in Barth Hall.


Altar Guild Ministry
Mission: To care for and prepare the altar for various services. Also to take care of flowers and linens. This ministry does not have a schedule of meetings but the leader calls meetings as needed.


Building and Grounds Ministry
Mission: To see that all aspects of the buildings and grounds of St. Paul's is well taken care of. This ministry meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Barth Hall.


Christian Formation Ministry
Mission: To direct the parish’s program of education and faith formation of children, youth, and adults.


Evangelism and Newcomers Ministry
Mission: 1) To market our parish to the Flint area so people looking for a church home will know of St. Paul's as an option for their spiritual home; 2) help guests who come among us to be incorporated into and find their place in the life of our parish. This ministry meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.in the Rector's office.


Every Friday Lunch Program
Mission: To provide a free lunch every Friday for anyone in need of a meal. The doors open at 11 a.m. with lunch being served from noon to 1 p.m.


Liturgy and Worship Ministry
Mission: To assist the rector in creating liturgy and worship of Almighty God that engages the active participation and enlivens the spirituality of an increasingly diverse worshipping family. This ministry meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.


Outreach Ministry
Mission: To provide stewardship to the Flint community through support of local agencies, direct aid, and through use of the gifts and talents of its members. This ministry meets around 7 times a year on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Canterbury Room per schedule.


Pastoral Care Ministry
Mission: To serve the needs of St. Paul's family - clergy and laity - in response to the charge of Christ, by showing love and concern through caring words and deeds, thus promoting a climate of acceptance, trust, and love. This ministry meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the Canterbury Room.
